I love Coventry.
I think the Ricoh is great.
We must have the biggest Primark for miles.
We have a great history.
We have always been home to people from all over Britain and the world.
We’re close to everywhere because we’re in the middle of the country.
And we don’t have a brummie accent.
What more could you ask for from a city?
I think Coventry is a great place with lots of potential for the future, as well as history. Coventry has one of the few 50m Swimming Pools in the country and the two universities gives lots of opportunities for study.I love our City and want to make sure every Coventry Kid gets a chance to succeed
A City with a great engineering history, and still a lot of excellent research and manufacture going on, helped, as Kevin says, by two modern, ambitious Universities. It is an honour to be a Councillor in a place with such traditions.
And, as Lynette says, very easily accessible from all round the country.
But it still has big social divisions, which hold it back from being even better. That is why I constantly stress that everyone has inbuilt genetic abilities. I believe in ambition and young people working hard to be the best they can be.
And I would be much harder on drug smuggling and drunkessnes. They are ruining the lives of people with real potential talent.
