Question: Some young people from our Foleshill Our Choice Group asked - We don't always feel safe walking around Foleshill, is there a possibility of having more police that we can see around?

It’s important that ANY incident that happens gets reported to the police – when they decide how many police to send out and where to send them they base their decisions on the reports of crimes and ASB that they have had, so the first thing to do is get reporting and you might get more police around.
Also we can talk to the police about areas that seem to be problems that they might not know about and get police to pay more attention, as well as getting PCSOs and wardens in the area.
Either let me know which bit of Foleshill in particular, or else tell your local councillors – Malkiat Auluck, Tariq Khan, Abdul Khan and we can try to get more police around.

I can definitely contact the Police and ask that they visit your group to understand your concerns, as the Police have neighbourhood policing so Police Officers proactively go around talking to residents associations and youth groups, listening to what problems there are in an area.
